Company History

The American brand Maxum entered the market in 1987 and belonged to the giant in the field of shipbuilding - Brunswick Boat Group. From the first days of its foundation, the company was engaged in the production of boats for outdoor activities. At that time, there was a lot of competition in the segment of sports towing and fast boats, but the company was able to gain the trust of the audience and gain its market share.

During the 2008–2010 crisis, Brunswick launched a global reduction, which also included the Maxum brand. Release was completely discontinued in 2009.

Production facilities were concentrated at two enterprises. One plant was located in Minnesota in Pipeston, and the second facility was in Salisbury (Maryland). In total, more than 500 people were involved in production processes.

The lineup

Fiberglass boats from 18 to 42 feet long were manufactured under the Maxum brand.

The lineup includes three lines: Sport Boats, Sport Cruisers and Sport Yachts. The Sport Boats range includes bow-riders and sports towers for day trips and sports.

Sport Cruisers and Sport Yachts are cabin cruise boats for leisure and two-three-day trips. The word Sport in the names of the rulers is not accidental: the shipyard’s boats are distinguished by good speed characteristics and maneuverability.
