Company "Vetus den Ouden N. V." It was founded in Holland in 1964. Today Vetus is an international company with operations in more than 100 countries.

Main production: marine diesel engines (based on Mitsubishi, Hyundai and Deutz engines), hydraulic control systems, steering wheels, bow and stern thrusters, tanks, navigation lights, hatches, anchor winches, pumps, ship windows and other equipment.

Motors up to 30 hp only four - "M2.C5", "M2.D5", "M2.06" and "M3.09", they are based on "Mitsubishi" engines; can be equipped with an angular drive (column).

Cooling takes place with outboard water with an intermediate circuit. Maximum tilt angles are 15 °, sideways - 25 °.

Medium & High Power Diesel Engines Vetus / Deutz

Diesel marine engines rated at 65.4–286 hp based on Deutz engines. They are delivered in two versions: atmospheric engines, turbocharged engines (index “T” in the marking), as well as turbocharged engines and air cooler (index “TA” in the marking). Equipped with reverse gearboxes for a straight shaft (with different gear ratios). All models have dual-circuit cooling (water-to-water cooler).

Vetus / Mitsubishi Low Power Diesel Engines

Diesel marine engines rated at 11–42 hp based on Mitsubishi engines. Equipped with reverse gearboxes for a straight shaft (with different gear ratios). Delivery of engines with a Z-shaped yacht column (sail-drive) is possible by special order. All models have dual-circuit cooling (water-to-water refrigerator or optional paddle cooler).

Vetus / Hyundai medium power diesel engines

Diesel marine engines rated at 65.3–80.3 hp based on Hyundai engines. Equipped with reverse gearboxes for a straight shaft (with different gear ratios). Delivery of engines with a Z-shaped yacht column (sail-drive) is possible by special order. All models have dual-circuit cooling (water-to-water refrigerator or optional paddle cooler).
