Sole Diesel

Spanish (more precisely, Catalan) manufacturer. Based in Barcelona. The history of the creation of this company dates back to 1914. Since 1949, Sole Diesel has been producing one-, two- and three-cylinder diesel engines with power up to 30 hp. For a long time, blocks of another well-known company - "Lombardini" were used in production. Since 1976, the company has also been engaged in the adaptation (conversion) of and Mercedes engines with power up to 150 hp. for marine conditions. Today, "Sole Diesel" produces stationary engines with power from 17 to 250 hp, marine generators with power up to 100 kW, has more than a hundred service centers in Spain alone and about 250 around the world.

In the production program of this company today, only two motors have a power of less than 30 hp. - this is the “Mini-17" and "Mini-26" (the base engine is "Mitsubishi"). Motors can be delivered both in the usual version, and for salt water. Their cooling system has a closed circuit with a heat exchanger and thermostat. Bosch high pressure pump. Both motors can be equipped with an angular column, which is equipped with an anode and is connected to the engine through an elastic coupling. Columns can be equipped with both traditional screws and with folding blades.

The block and head "Mini-17" and "Mini-26" are made of cast iron. Permissible installation angle is 20 °.
