Founded in 1969, the American company Regal Boats is one of the world's largest family-owned yacht-building businesses. The married couple, ignited by the idea of manufacturing fiberglass boats, found an investment and started their own business. The first models the shipyard built were a 17-foot trimaran, a 21-foot cabin boat and a 14-foot sports tow. In 1971, the company decided to develop production and settled in the state of Florida in Orlando. Despite the energy crisis in the early 70s, the creators of the shipyard continued to work hard and develop the business. In 1976, the first Regal boat was exported. In 1995, the company patented a new type of hull FasTrac with a specific bottom profile, which allowed to improve the speed characteristics of yachts and reduce fuel consumption. The following year, FasTrac received the Innovation Award at the International Maritime Trade Fair (IMTEC).

Today, the company is run by representatives of the second and third generation shipyard founders. The company's products are known worldwide and sold through an extensive dealer network. The company remains open to its customers and invites to visit the production at any time - the company conducts tours of the workshops part of the days a week.

Regal produces a wide range of models, including bowriders of various types and sizes in the Bowrider, Surf, Outboard boats, Caddy and Express Cruiser cabin boats, and Sport Yacht high-speed yachts. Many Regal models are suitable for towing a skier or wakeboarder.
