Carver shipyard began its history in the homeland of North American yacht building - in the city of Milwaukee (Wisconsin), where people from the Netherlands managed to preserve the traditional craft. In the mid-1950s, Charles Carter and George Verhagen began building mahogany-runabouts in Milwaukee.

At first, a small production was located in the garage and started as a hobby, but in the end, when rumors quickly spread about two young builders and the high quality of their boats, they decided to organize a business.

The construction of wooden boats continued until the 70s, then the company, following the current trends in shipbuilding, was re-qualified for fiberglass. The new material allowed the construction of larger structures.

By the 1980s, Carver was acquired by the new owners, which enabled the company to expand sales outside the Great Lakes region and become a recognized leader in the luxury motor yacht market nationwide. During this period, the Aft Cabin class model (with a cabin in the stern) was first introduced, which has long become the hallmark of the Carver brand.

The 1990s witnessed the emergence of the elegant Voyager long cruise series as well as the Montego series. In 2000, the largest Carver yacht at that time was presented - 57 'Voyager Pilothouse.

Carver offers a full production cycle: from designing a yacht's hull to creating an interior. Boats at the shipyard are built using the patented Carver Advanced Structural Technology (C.A.S. T. System), which allows full control of all processes. The company’s production facilities are located in Pulaski, Wisconsin.

The company continues to occupy a leading position in the creation of spacious, productive and reliable world-class cruise boats ranging in length from 10 to 16 meters. Carver Yachts offers fast closed hardtop cruise yachts and flybridge models.

Features

When casting hulls, the shipyard uses its own vacuum infusion technology. With its help, it is possible to pump the required amount of resin without excessive moisture, this makes the design lightweight and at the same time more durable. All external surfaces of the case are treated with a special transparent paint to protect against ultraviolet radiation, which significantly extends the service life.
